Why we started Mylla
Good hair tools have always been priced as though they were jewellery. A salon-quality dryer sits at £300, a decent straightener at £150, and the reason is rarely the engineering — it is the name printed on the handle.
We started Mylla Beauty because the gap between what a tool costs to make and what it sells for had stopped making sense. We work directly with the manufacturers who build for the well-known names, and we sell without the showroom, the celebrity campaign and the department-store margin.
What that means for you
- Ionic dryers, titanium plates, ceramic barrels — the same components, at a third of the price.
- Honest delivery times. Our stock ships from our supply partners, which takes longer than a next-day courier. We say so before you buy, not after.
- A two-year warranty on every tool, and a UK 3-pin plug as standard.
Tools are only half of it
Heat styling works. It also takes something out of your hair every time you do it. That is why we make the other half of the routine — the heat protectant, the repair mask, the silk pillowcase — rather than selling you a 230°C straightener and wishing you luck.
How we talk to you
No countdown timers, no invented discounts, no "only 2 left" when there are four hundred. If a product is not right for your hair type, we would rather say so than take the order and the return.
